Safe in Nature COVID-19 Quarantine

The Commonwealth of Dominica currently requires a quarantine on entry for all guests. We are certified to host you in our off-grid house. We take care of all the details for you, while you enjoy the natural setting from the quarantine house.

Making a resilient, earth-friendly future a reality

Our mission is to create the reality that will best serve the future. We aim to produce most of our own goods, to take care of the land, and to cooperatively organize ourselves.

Our philosophy is inspired by The Paradigm for the Next Generation, and we are iteratively shaping this project towards the principles detailed there.

A guest here has the option to engage in the hands-on aspects of our project as much (or little) as they desire.

We offer you raw nature; packaged as a farm stay.

What our guests are saying...

"Springhold is much more than a place to stay. First, sharing convictions and way of life of this atypical and generous family is a beautiful human experience. Second, the location in heart of the mountains is wonderful. The cabin is very cute, providing all basic necessary comfort, and has an unbelievable view. So many rainbows by day, so many stars by night. You will feel in total harmony with nature...and with yourself. I won't forget these days and definitely will come back....." -- Aurore

"This place is so cool!!! Super isolated and off grid in the jungle, they have really made this into a special little community spot. Robin and Aaron shared so much invaluable info on permaculture and how to live with the land. The structures they have built are so cool. The room is small but had plenty room, and there are many common spaces to hangout and relax. Robin was kind enough to pick us up from town and spared us a long walk up a crazy steep hill. This is a very unique experience!" -Eliot

"This place is really interesting. Robin is lovely and so willing to share information and help to understand the principles of permaculture and how to apply them. If you want to learn more, I really recommend volunteering or helping out... Hot water, great food, comfy bed and social spaces. This is a social home so better for those who are comfortable with that. It can get pretty muddy so take boots and get involved." -Giselle
